Deep dark inky color.
Full fruit aroma on the nose and still fruit forward.
Tannins are still present, but have softened a bit.
The wine had a lingering acidic taste at the finish and took this score down a bit.
Tasted better with food, and still was enjoyable to drink on its own, but not the same as past bottles of this vintage.
Maybe an off bottle of wine.
